Don’t you love the Christmas classic music? I do. Around the Christmas tree this year are many garlands I made from book pages!
I talked about the mini book garland and globe garlands in the Lee Club Christmas tree.
Other garlands includ these double flowers. Lots of circles punched, then crinkled just the right way and glued together onto another circle. Finally I glued two of the flower circles together around ribbon. And there was a garland! Not very fast but really beautiful. They almost look like full snowballs!
The snowflake garlands splayed open to be three-dimensional like the globe garland. These were made from white cardstock with words printed on both sides.
Another cute garland is the gingerbread men from cardstock with words printed on both sides, also. When I taught elementary school, I cross stitched gingerbread boys and girls for Christmas tree ornaments. Each student received one of those handmade ornaments. That was lots of work too, but I hope those ornaments have been cherished over the years.
Tomorrow we are off literally to “rock around the Christmas tree” while visiting family in our hometown.
Merry Christmas to you all.
